What can Ballyheigue Community Centre offer you ?
SERVICES AVAILABLE
YOUNG AT HEART DAYCARE GROUP
Are you retired or looking for a way to meet new friends ? or simply have time on your hands ? Then why not join our Young at Heart group every Wednesday. The group enjoy a 3 course meal, freshly prepared on site. Activities include bingo, gentle exercises, card games etc. If you care to join us you are more than welcome.
Wednesday 10am - 2:30pm
€7 per meal
LAUNDRY
We have a fantastic laundry and laundry team. We can wash, dry & iron clothes, towels, duvets & duvet covers etc. Let our team do the work for you. Open 9am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
SENIOR CITIZEN MEALS ON WHEELS
Cooked on our premises and guaranteed fresh. Hot meals delivered to your door (can also be collected) on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Why not give us a try - you wont be dissapointed.
GYM
We have a fully equipped gym. Featuring a variety of equipment including treadmills, free weights, exercise bikes and more. New and old members always welcome.
Open Monday - Friday :- 9:30 am - 12:30pm / 5pm - 8:30pm
RESPITE DAYCARE
Ballyheigue Respite Daycare provides a welcome respite opportunity for carers and provides a positive experience for the person receiving care. We are open Friday 10am - 3pm. A dedicated team of care assistants and volunteers assist our qualified nurse on duty. We work with each client to ensure they feel comfortable, supported and that their individual needs are met as far as possible. Full lunch is provided and we offer a wide range of activities (eg. music sessions, gentle exercises, bingo, card games etc.) We provide a bus for this service.
HALL HIRE / ROOM HIRE
We have a large Sports Hall available for functions and children's parties.
Also at Ballyheigue Community Centre there are rooms to rent should you wish to hold a meeting for any length of time or perhaps you are a Teacher / Instructor looking to hold a course at the centre and need a room.
